TikSnap is built to do one job with as little data as possible. This page explains what happens when you use it.

What we process

When you paste a TikTok link and press Grab, that link is sent to our service so it can look up the post and return the download. We don't require an account, and we don't ask for your name, email, or any personal details.

What we don't store

We don't keep a history of the links you submit or the files you download. Downloaded video and image data passes through only as needed to deliver your file to your browser; it isn't retained.

Rate limiting

To keep the service healthy, we temporarily count requests per network address for a short window. This is used only to prevent abuse and expires automatically.

Cookies and analytics

The core downloader works without login cookies. If analytics or advertising are added in future, this policy will be updated to describe them and any choices available to you.

Third parties

Video and image files are hosted by TikTok's own content delivery network; retrieving them means contacting those servers. TikSnap is not affiliated with TikTok.
